Great movie from 1984. Even if the viewer does not like Action type of movies, he/she will watch the whole movie and enjoy it. The main actor plays extremely suggestively, naturally and emotionally. His creation is undoubtedly one of the best in this film and also one of the best in the actor's career. [[tytul] is a very innovative film. I couldn't find any single bad thing in that movie. It is 100/100 and sets the standard for every other movie in this genre. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the film only to win favor with the mass audience. The Sheik who competed at the last Cannonball Run, is berated by his father for not winning it. So he tells him to go and win. Problem is that there is no Cannonball Run. So his father tells him to make one of his own. He puts up a million dollars as the prize. So former Cannonballers J.J. and his buddy Vince join, as does Blake and Fenderbaum and some other characters. But Blake and Fenderbaum owe a mobster some money, and the mobster owes some other guy more. He then decides to grab the Sheik and hold him for ransom so he can pay the guy back.... Show more
