All I Want for Christmas is a great movie and there is no doubt. I was afraid that knowledge of the plot would in some way take away the joy of watching, but it did not happen. "All I Want For Christmas" is a comedy about two New York kids who come up with a fun plan to get what they want most this Christmas. Ethan, a practical older brother and charming Hallie who knows how to deal with a difficult situation, intends to spend Christmas with her parents Catherine and Michael and grandmother Lillian. When Ethan and Hallie set off, almost nothing went as planned. This is complicated by a smart businessman named Toney Boer, who was interested in Catherine. In the meantime, Ethan is not only concerned with his parents' romantic dilemma, but also with his own - caused by a new friendship with Stephanie, his first teenage love. What develops is a complex program with mice, phone calls, and an ice cream van as Ethan and Hallie try to get to their destination with the help of Stephanie.
